5.         Reda had dinner at his favorite restaurant. If the sales tax rate is 5% and the sales tax on the meal came to $2.00, what was the total cost of the meal, including sales tax and a 15% tip?

6.        Janmir is making a mix CD. The CD has room for 3 songs at the end but he likes six songs. How many different endings could the CD have?

8.        What is the probability of drawing a red king when drawing a card at random from a deck of 52 playing cards?

9.        A drawer contains 6 black socks, 4 gray socks, and 2 blue socks. You randomly choose 1 sock from the drawer, and then randomly choose a second sock without replacing the first sock. Tell whether the situation describes independent events or dependent events. Then find the probability that both socks are gray.

10.    Nick wants to make a four-letter username using N, I, C, K. Each letter can be used more than once. How many usernames can he make?
